The ladybird rearing kit AdaliaBox is a pedagogical tool for nature education. Its goal is to get children and their parents interested in the fascinating world of insects.
The AdaliaBox permits them, during the 20 days of the rearing period, to discover the life cycle of ladybirds and to learn about their role in nature. The ladybirds in the rearing kit belong to the species Adalia bipunctata, the 2-spotted ladybird, an indigenous species for Europe.
How does it work ?
The moment the kit is acquired, the client can send a coupon to receive the young larvae with the necessary food for their development.
While waiting for the larvae to arrive, the client can, thanks to the enclosed explanatory leaflet, get familiar with the rearing procedure and can learn about the biological and ecological characteristics of the ladybird Adalia bipunctata.
